With many pedal manufactures going away from the 15mm wrench flats the traditional pedal wrench is becoming obsolete. To further complicate things some manufactures require both 6 and 8 millimeter within their product range. This means it's hard to know exactly what tool to grab for pedal removal or installation. Enter the Abbey BBQ pedal wrench. With the once standard 15mm box end on one end and a custom 6 and 8 millimeter hex swivel bit on the opposite end it's the only pedal wrench you'll ever need. Perfect to keep at the fit station, on the sales floor, on top of the pedal box in the neutral car and certainly at the tool bench.
The Team Issue pedal wrench is something that we have been custom making for our sponsored mechanics for a few years. Now they are available in limited quantities to the tool buying public. These tools have five big pockets of material removed to drop the weight from 434 grams to 286! This turns it into a great travel tool for cyclists or mechanics that don't want to sacrifice usability for weight savings. While we are confident this tool has great durability in normal conditions it is not recommended for seized or abused equipment.

There are truing stands and then there is The Truing Stand. What's long been a bike shop staple isn't always the most glamorous tool in the shop, in fact it's usually a pretty basic device. But the work that comes off the truing stand is often the thing bike shop hero's are made from, the legendary perfectly built wheel. So what if we revisit the lowly truing stand, approach it like a piece of metrology equipment instead of something that does little more than hold a wheel? There's so many ways to 'hack' a truing stand, if you're going to make a proper tool why not go all out?
We set out to make a truing stand like no other, something that had a stable base as a foundation for precision and repeatability. We wanted the stand to reliably mirror on a centerline so it would always be in dish regardless of hub or rim width. We needed a good thru axle solution that didn't require adapters. In the disc brake era we wanted to be able to straighten rotors while the wheel was in the stand. We wanted a stand that was equally at home truing wheels for a general tune up as it was building wheels worthy of elite competition. We added the ability to run dial indicators for radial and lateral deviation and you can run one for the rotor if you'd like. Design is all about compromise and we spent nearly 6 years thinking and tinkering this one, the results do not disappoint.
Igus drive components for nearly maintenance-free operation.
Linear rails for smooth movement of the uprights.
Lateral indicators ride on sealed cartridge bearings for smooth operation.
Indicators operate on a push pull motion so they are always mirrored from centerline.
The radial indicator can be positioned wherever you like or used for single sided lateral truing if desired.
Optional Mitutoyo analog indicators for enhanced accuracy.

The wash buddy clamps firmly into the rear drop out and has the ability to not only hold the chain but allow for full crank rotation and changing of cogs. This allows you plenty of room to clean and inspect your drive train while washing your bike or doing maintenance.
We tested these for over 2 years on the pro circuit to ensure you will have a durable tool for years to come. The stainless spindle will hold up to all of the solvents, water and grit that these tools get soaked in every time you use them. The Delrin pulley has great solvent resistance as well.
Our Delrin pulleys are available separately for use with thru axle bikes. Simply remove your wheel and slide the pulley over your factory thru axle for a nice secure solution. It's a great way to ship bikes as well.

Custom wheels may be falling out of favor with mainstream cycling but that doesn't mean there's not people out there who still love to build them. While there is a lot of science that goes into making hubs, spokes and rims. There's a healthy does of art that goes into turning that pile of parts into a wheel that can see thousands of miles of use. Some parts of this process are straight forward and others require more experience.
The Wheel Lacing Stand is another item from the Noble Catalog, a small tool maker from London who started as a wheel building specialist. This tool is pretty basic in purpose, it supports the hub and rim of a wheel independently while you are putting the spokes into it. This adds a good amount of speed to the start of the wheel building process with a 20% time savings! Perhaps the biggest benefit of the lacing stand is the ergonomic benefit. With the parts supported in the stand you no longer have to crouch over the rim on your lap. This is a big joy to the backs of wheel builders everywhere!
- Compatible with quick release, 12 or 15 millimeter thru axle hubs
- Compatible with rim diameters from 12"-29"/700c
- Compatible with all rim widths and spoke counts

Now we don't pretend to understand how magnets work but they're kind of handy for keeping the chain wrapped around the cassette and keeping the chain chain stowed when not in use. So we are offering these as parts for the existing Whip-It.

A chain whip is a pretty simple tool, but the Whip-It maximizes function and simplicity. The Whip-It is made from a 12" length of stainless steel to give you enough leverage to loosen even the most stubborn cassettes. The Whip-it's round handle provides comfort surpassing other flat bar style chain whips on the market. The icing on the cake is that Abbey's signature tool, the Crombie(sold separately)stores inside the handle of the Whip-It! This means the two tools you use together, get stored together, and travel together, giving you less clutter in your tool box.
The Whip-It comes in two versions, one for the 1/2" handle for all Crombies that Abbey makes as of January 2020, this version also works for dual sided and team issue before January 2020. There is also a version for the older 3/8 handle single sided chain whips which were sold prior to January 2020.

We made these monster chain whips at the request of some of our long time customers who were working the world cup track circuit. When a world class sprinter stands on the pedals of their track bike it taxes everything between the sole of their shoe and the tire. This means that tiny little track cog is threaded onto the hub as if He-Man put it on. We've lengthened these track whips out to a massive 17"/432mm, made a reinforced tang specifically for the 1/8" chain and put them together with stainless aircraft rivets. It adds up to a bomber whip worthy of the fastest men and women in the world.
Not for use on multi geared bikes. Single Speed 1/8" only.

With thru axles becoming more and more common the original Crombie tool was due for a makeover. We took the piloting pin and plus sized it to work with the 12mm thru axle fitment that is actually standardized. We make this version as a dual sided tool with two S Group ends, one for thru axle wheels and the other for regular hubs. The regular side has a hole deep enough to hide a skewer nut, it's really the best of both worlds.
The STANDARD version comes with a solid handle while the SUPER LIGHT has a hollow handle to save weight for the traveling mechanic. SL handles are plenty durable for lockrings that are torqued close to the 40 NM spec. If you commonly come across over torque lockrings get the standard handle.
Note, this version of the Crombie tool is not compatible with any Campagnolo wheels.
