Abbey Whip-It Track Chain Whip
Description
We made these monster chain whips at the request of some of our long time customers who were working the world cup track circuit. When a world class sprinter stands on the pedals of their track bike it taxes everything between the sole of their shoe and the tire. This means that tiny little track cog is threaded onto the hub as if He-Man put it on. We've lengthened these track whips out to a massive 17"/432mm, made a reinforced tang specifically for the 1/8" chain and put them together with stainless aircraft rivets. It adds up to a bomber whip worthy of the fastest men and women in the world.
Not for use on multi geared bikes. Single Speed 1/8" only.

Insert the extractor into the bearing, tighten one side with an Allen key, and the collet expands to grip the inside of the bearing

This is add on kit for the popular Abbey Bike Tools Modular bearing press adding even more versatility for the modern mechanic to deal with all the different shapes, sizes, and styles.
The kit includes drift all common bearing sizes with a bearing inner diameter (ID) of 15mm or larger. Including the over axle drifts required to install bearings in DT, Zipp and other modern captured bearing hubs. These drifts feature a 1/2" (12.7mm) ID and can be used with other presses if need be.
