Designed to press in all current Wheels Mfg bottom brackets! Our do-it-all Essential Bottom Bracket Press. Economical and easy to use, this tool is made up of two machined aluminum handles, 1/2" threaded rod and one machined aluminum frame drift.
Each drift is machined with multiple steps to fit common bottom bracket shell and bearing diameters listed in the Compatibility tab below. No more searching for the correct size drifts and parts. Just match up the drift to your frame's BB shell size and your bottom bracket's bearing size and press.
1/2" diameter threaded rod resists bending, allowing for the cups to align and press in straight. Drifts can also can be used as a frame bottom bracket shell sizing guide! Our universal bottom bracket drift is designed to press all current Wheels Mfg bottom bracket cups in to your frame. The adapter is machined with multiple steps to fit common bottom bracket shell and bearing diameters listed in the Compatibility tab below. Each step is laser etched with the diameter size.
Drift can also can be used as a frame bottom bracket shell sizing guide!
Recommended for use with Wheels Mfg Universal BB Press, but can be used with PRESS-1 or PRESS-4 handles.
-Inner hole sized to fit 1/2" threaded rod
-Compatible with any other press with a 1/2" diameter rod
-Recommended for use with Wheels Mfg BP0006, BP0007
-Machined aluminum
We do not recommend it for use with press with a rod diameter less than 1/2". When used with a smaller rod, it is almost impossible to prevent the cups or bearings from pressing in straight.

48.5mm, 16-notch pattern matches up with Wheels Mfg bottom brackets, along with some FSA MegaEVO bottom brackets.
