Alloy tool steel socket is fully machined to precise tolerances for an exacting professional-level fit and optimally heat treated for maximum strength and longevity.
Features a unique dual function design with 5mm pin and removable magnetic 12mm pin.
Features extra-long splines for superior engagement, quick-spin knurling, a 3/8" square drive for use with torque wrenches, a 24mm external drive for use with Pedro's Pro Socket Handle and pedal wrenches, and a 19.8mm internal diameter with 21.5mm depth.
Fits all Shimano®, Sram®, SunRace®, SunTour®, Chris King®, and other HG® standard cassette lockrings, disc brake lockrings, and other similar fittings with 12 splines and 23.5mm outside diameter.
The Pro Cassette Lockring Socket begins as a solid piece of alloy tool steel, then is fully machined to precise tolerances for an exacting fit you won't find anywhere else, and finally is optimally heat treated for maximum strength and longevity. Designed with the professional mechanic in mind, we included both a 5mm guide pin and a removable aluminum 12mm pin held in place magnetically and easily removed with a satisfying precision-fit "pop". The extra-deep splines ensure superior engagement while the quick spin knurling provides speed and control. This version of the tool has a Shimano/SRAM remover on one side with a Campagnolo on the other. A precision machined spline ensures maximum engagement and durability.
The SUPER LIGHT version shaves 125 grams out of the handle and are meant for working on well maintained bikes. The SL's are not suitable for use on bikes that have over torqued or seized lock rings. If you are working in a shop or just don't need to travel with your tools we strongly suggest that you go with our standard solid handle tools.

A socket style Crombie tool that is compatible with ratchets and torque wrenches.
The Socket Crombie has our signature finger spline at the top along with a 3/8" square drive for using your favorite ratchet or torque wrench. The tool is plenty deep to hide a quick release and still get full engagement on the lock ring(Campagnolo only).
Suspension application
The S Group Socket Crombie is ideal for some of the newer RockShox suspension forks that are using the S group lockring spline for suspension top caps.
Compatibility
S Group is compatible with all modern Shimano and SRAM cassettes
Campagnolo version is compatible with all Campagnolo cassettes.
