What sets King components apart is their focus on the details. There are plenty of other lockrings on the market, but they wanted their wheels to have a lockring consistent with their quality, look and functionality. Basically, Chris King can’t just leave well enough alone if they think they can make something better.
The King lockring is aluminum with a steel crush washer and has a classic King lasermark to match their headsets and rims.
A lot of time was spent on the exact shape of this piece. In addition to the subtle shaping of the front, the knurling on the back has a very specific shape, so it threads on easily, but it resists coming loose. It also colour matches your other King components.

Note: The Chris King Centerlock Lockring follows Shimano's standard dimensions, featuring a 4 mm thick flange and a 44 mm outer diameter.
