Description
Trimming steer tubes hasn't gotten any easier on modern bikes. In the search for a super clean look, bikes are routing cables through headsets and steer tubes and it's made tasks that use to be quick and simple a major time suck. Until now! The unique thing about our Saw Guide is that the clamp is open, so you can slide it around the steer tube instead of having to slide it over the end. It doesn't sound like that big of a deal but it means you can get an accurate and square cut without taking the fork off the bike and more importantly without taking all the cables out of the bike. Use this tool once for that application and it's paid for itself. Of course it will work on normal steer tubes as well and give you a nice square cut every time.
The guide is two sided, one side for standard toothed metal cutting blades and the opposite side is wider for abrasive blades used to cut composites. You can also use the guide in a vise like you're probably use to and it's pretty compact if you want to travel with it.

Open Bore adapters, also known as drifts, are used to press cartridge bearings in to bottom bracket cups, hub shells, freehub bodies and suspension frame pivots. Each adapter has a smaller diameter that inserts in to the center of a bearing, and a larger diameter section that matches the outside diameter of the bearing. When used with a bearing press, the adapter presses against the races of the bearing, properly aligns the bearing and prevents damage as the bearing is pressed in.
Our 1526 open bore adapter is used to press 26x15 sealed bearings. The adapter is machined with one step at 15mm OD, which fits in to the center of the sealed bearing.

Our 6000 over axle adapter is used to press 6000 sealed bearings into hub shells or suspension components. An over axle adapter is necessary when the bearing slides over the axle before it is pressed into the hub shell or suspension component. In addition to the adapter, you often need spacers to clear the end of the axle and allow enough clearance for the press to fully push in the bearing.

The Pro Chain Whip II takes inspiration from our beloved Vise Whip, applying many of the same functional principles to a more traditional chain whip design. The Pro Chain Whip design focuses on functionality, practicality, and safety. The innovative chain retention hook offers multiple benefits. First it keeps the chain secured to the tool during storage. Secondly, it improves user safety by locking the tool onto the cassette, ensuring full chain wrap and eliminating slippage. An added bonus of this feature is that the tool stays in place on its own. No more fumbling with your cassette lockring tool with one hand while trying to keep your chain whip in place. Being attached to the cassette, the Pro Chain Whip can also be used to slide the cassette off the hub. A nice option when dealing with grimy gears.
The tool features a 3/8" square drive allowing use with a torque wrench, an ergonomic TPR rubber grip for improved control, and increased handle thickness for improved strength and stiffness. Keeping traveling mechanics and portability in mind, the Pro Chain Whip geometry maximizes effective leverage while keeping the tool length to a compact 290mm and 325g weight. Suspension service is a specialty within bicycle repair and it takes specialized tools to perform this work. One of the things that any factory tech will tell you is nice to have are sockets specifically made or altered for the low profile hex on the top of each fork leg. The lead in or chamfer on a standard socket will greatly decrease the contact between tool and part and can easily scratch or deform those nuts. For years shops have been grinding down their sockets to remove the chamfer. Problem is you're still often left with a loose fitting socket that is still prone to chewing up those delicate parts. That's why we started from scratch.
We made our sockets from billet aluminum to exacting tolerances to keep these parts in good shape. fully CNC'd machined with zero lead in, they make the specialty that is suspension service a little bit easier. They feature a 3/8" square drive for use with your favorite torque wrench as well as finger splines to help run the top caps into the fork legs with those oil soaked hands. We also kept them short (1" or 25mm for all sizes) to reduce the chance of them caming off of the top cap under torque.
