Description
The Pro BB Socket System is the ultimate solution to the ever-growing number of threaded bottom bracket “standards” flooding the market. This patent-pending, innovative, and economical system adapts to both current and future bottom bracket tool needs with ease.
At the core of the system is the Pro BB Socket Cup, designed to accept Pro BB Inserts via a secure magnetic connection, allowing for quick, effortless swapping with a satisfying click. As new bottom bracket standards emerge, additional inserts can be easily introduced, enabling mechanics to expand their toolkit affordably and efficiently.
Completing the system is the Pro BB Socket Holder, which threads directly into the Cup. This crucial component prevents the socket from slipping off or pressing further onto the bottom bracket, effectively sandwiching it, and reducing the risk of injury or frame damage.
- Magnetic plug and play system replaces eight BB sockets. Included Pro BB Socket Cup and eight Pro BB Inserts pack down smaller than two traditional BB sockets.
- 7075 T6 aluminum socket is fully machined to precise tolerances for an exacting professional-level fit.
- Features a 3/8" square drive for use with torque wrenches, a 24mm external drive for use with Pedro's Pro Socket Handle and pedal wrenches, and internal M12 thread for use with the Pro BB Socket Holder.
- Inserts are precision laser cut tool steel with optimized heat treatment for precise fit and superior tool life

Thin Flange Bottom Bracket Socket Designed to create a tight grip on thin flange bottom bracket to avoid slipping while torquing cups into bike frames. This single-sided socket is used for installing and removing 48.5mm, 16-notch bottom bracket cups. The socket has a machined 3/8" drive, which can be used to allow 3/8" drive torque wrenches to be attached and locks onto 1/2 inch UNC press rod for secure and easy installation of thin flanged bottom brackets. Machined 6061 Aluminum Anodized Red.
