Open Bore adapters, also known as drifts, are used to press cartridge bearings in to bottom bracket cups, hub shells, freehub bodies and suspension frame pivots. Each adapter has a smaller diameter that inserts in to the center of a bearing, and a larger diameter section that matches the outside diameter of the bearing. When used with a bearing press, the adapter presses against the races of the bearing, properly aligns the bearing and prevents damage as the bearing is pressed in.
Our 1526 open bore adapter is used to press 26x15 sealed bearings. The adapter is machined with one step at 15mm OD, which fits in to the center of the sealed bearing.

Double-sided socket tool for installing and removing both 48.5mm and 44mm 16-notch bottom bracket cups. Compatible with all Wheels Manufacturing bottom brackets. Socket is machined for 1/2" drive, but a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter is included so you can use it with 3/8" drive torque wrenches.
48.5mm, 16-notch pattern matches up with Wheels Mfg bottom brackets, along with some FSA MegaEVO bottom brackets. Thin Flange Bottom Bracket Sockets Designed to create a tight grip on thin flange bottom brackets to avoid slipping while torquing cups into bike frames. These single-sided sockets are used for installing and removing 48.5mm, 16-notch, 54mm 16-notch and 54mm 12-notch bottom bracket cups.
The sockets have a machined 3/8" drive, which can be used to allow 3/8" drive torque wrenches to be attached and locks onto 1/2 inch UNC press rod for secure and easy installation of thin flanged bottom brackets. Machined 6061 Aluminum Anodized Red
