Description
Built around the traverses of the Enduro World Series our Vortex wheels redefine what Enduro wheels are.
With a generous 33mm internal width Vortex wheels increase tyre volume and maximise the available grip on offer. Using an asymmetric design we have equalised spoke tensions and built a package that leaves descents in its wake, whilst cutting down weight where it isn’t needed for energy sapping climbs. To compensate for the differences in wall length and strength of an asymmetric design, the wall thicknesses have been proportioned to balance out impact forces equally. The Vortex offers offset wheel benefits, without compromise.
At the core of our Vortex wheels are our new and improved instantaneous 120 point pick up MT Supadrive and MT Front hubs, with sealed bearings and super wide spaced flanges for increased stiffness and durability.
100% hand built and pre fitted with tubeless tape, Vortex wheels are tubeless ready from the box.

Utilising a wide 30mm internal width rim the Vapour 35 wheels bridge the gap between plus sized wheels and more narrow traditional offerings. With a greater width comes increased tyre volume and stability.
In addition to an adept rim, the Vapour 35 wheels utilise our new and improved instantaneous 120 point pickup MT Supadrive and MT Front hubs, with sealed bearings and wide spaced flanges for increased stiffness and durability.
Supplied pre-taped the Vapour 35 is tubeless ready from the box.

The GRD23 is not like other wheels in many respects. It’s an all-road wheel that offers you a bit more compliance than other carbon all-road wheels. Having said that, it’s not soft. It’s not noodly. It’s just a bit friendlier to your bones when you ride it on all the stuff you ride.
The GRD23 rim is made of FusionFiberTM, a cutting edge thermoplastic that incorporates long-chain polymers. Without diving into the science, FusionFiberTM has a wider range of compliance profiles, and that means we could tune this wheel to hit a sweet spot in road feel that we didn’t see being served by more performance-oriented carbon wheelsets that focus on using resin to create unforgiving stiffness.
Unlike other carbon rims, the GRD23 rim is recyclable. If you manage to break it somehow, we’ll take it back and make it into something new.
Another reason you want this wheelset is that it’s built around our R45D Centerlock hubs, the culmination of over 45 years of bearing experience and more than 20 years of hub building experience. It features a redesigned RingDrive™ system with 45 teeth for lower drag and near instant simultaneous engagement, a lightweight hub body, and our legendary made-in-house bearings.
Those bearings, both steel and ceramic, have heat-treated, surgical grade steel races machined in tandem to ensure perfect matching. The quality and speed of our bearings is what you feel (and hear) on every ride. As the tracks on Chris King bearing break in and burnish they actually get faster. A little bit of regular love (i.e. service) will keep this hub rolling for years upon years of demanding use.
This wheelset comes with the legendary angry-bee sound and you can choose from a bunch of sharp hub colors, including basic black.

Designed for and tested at trail centres, bike parks, street riding by some of the best riders in the business. The all new Skelta wheelset is one of the most durable in Mountain Biking and is built using 6069 T6 heat-treated aluminium with an invisible seamless welded joint for added security. The Skelta rim features a shot-peened surface which provides increased corrosion and fatigue resistance, as well as a uniform matt finish.
After more than a year of heavy testing Halo developed the rim design to offer an even stronger wheel without excessive weight. Skelta’s enhanced 30 mm internal width, offers a confidence inspiring hooked rim profile for added control and tyre security and is compatible with all types of tyres, tubeless or not. Optimised the width for tyre sizes from 2.25” – 2.8”, making them compatible with lightweight XC tyres for ripping local trails, through to heavy casing DH tyres for the gnarliest conditions.
