The 102BCD chainring was made specifically for the XTR M960 crankset
- Only fits on the M960 crankset in the middle ring position
- Drop-Stop® technology. On Wolf Tooth’s patented wide/narrow chainring, the wide side of the tooth has maximum contact on the drive side which spreads the load and improves chainring life. The narrow side allows clearance for mud and debris which reduces friction
- Alternating wide/narrow tooth pattern prevents chain derailment
Compatibility
- These rings only fit on the M960 crankset in the middle ring position
- For 1x10, 1x11 and 1x12 drivetrains (including SRAM Eagle)
- Compatible with all 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains except Shimano 12-speed chains.
- If using a 9-speed drivetrain use a 10-speed chain (shifts and works well on a 9-speed drivetrain and fits the ring tighter for better chain retention)
- 6mm Chainring bolts needed

10, 11, & 12spd Eagle and Flattop - These chainrings are designed to work with all 10 speed, and 11 speed chains. They also work with 12 speed SRAM Flattop, SRAM Eagle, SRAM Transmission and KMC chain. They do not work with Shimano 12 speed Hyperglide+ chain.
Wolf Tooth was first to market with Cyclocross 1x specific chainrings because we saw Cyclocross as the perfect use for our Drop-Stop® technology. Since their release, the uses for these rings has expanded beyond Cyclocross to commuting, gravel riding, mountain bikes with 5-arm crank power meters, and even full on-road applications with the giant 50t rings.
- Drop-Stop B is for all 9,10,11 speed chains and SRAM Eagle, Road, Transmission Flattop 12speed chains.

- These rings are for use with 110 BCD 5 arm cranksets.
- Do NOT fit on the cranksets for Shimano DA 9000 / Ultegra 6800
- Not compatible with Campy CX10/11.
- Dura Ace 6700 compact needs modifcation
- Can be mounted in either the big or small ring position of a double crankset given chainstay clearance in the small ring position.
- Stock 2x bolts will not work. These chainrings are for Shimano GRX cranks. They feature our patented Drop-Stop® design for the best wear life, chain retention, and mud clearance. The newly updated tooth profile works with SRAM Flattop chain in addition to other 9, 10, 11, and 12 spd chains (except Shimano HG+ 12 speed chain).
