Universal Rear Shock Dummy Tool – PRO Version
The PRO version is the heavy-duty, workshop-grade upgrade to our standard Rear Shock Dummy Tool. Built for mechanics and advanced users who frequently switch between eyelet and trunnion mounting, it’s stronger, stiffer, and optimized for repeated use.
Adjustment Range:
165 mm to 250 mm (and up to ~266 mm for legacy sizes). One full rotation = 10 mm of length change. Set your eye-to-eye and lock it in seconds.
What Makes It PRO
- Full top-section swap: Unscrews completely for instant conversion between eyelet and trunnion. Each adapter self-aligns perfectly perpendicular.
- High-strength polymer body: Thicker, stiffer, and designed to withstand repeated workshop use without flexing.
- Maintenance-friendly interface: If the top gets snug, insert a screwdriver in the slot to unscrew. No need to overtighten.
- Heavy-duty load capacity: Over 20 kg of static load (not for riding or sitting).
- Thread-and-align system: Rotate until the Triangle marks your length. Going 10 mm under is still good practice for eyelet clearance.

Our 6000 over axle adapter is used to press 6000 sealed bearings into hub shells or suspension components. An over axle adapter is necessary when the bearing slides over the axle before it is pressed into the hub shell or suspension component. In addition to the adapter, you often need spacers to clear the end of the axle and allow enough clearance for the press to fully push in the bearing.
