Abbey Bottom Bracket Socket - Chris King
Description
Made with the same top shelf aluminum alloy, to the same exacting fit and tolerance as the rest of our socket range, these sockets won't chew up your shiny new bottom bracket.
This socket features a threaded boss to allow you to bolt the tool into place when dealing with these exceptionally thin tool interfaces. This is a unique feature to our tools that adds a layer of protection and security to your parts and tools.
Compatible with:
Chris King Threadfit 30 and Threadfit T47 bottom brackets
Not compatible with Threadfit 24
M6 thread pitch inside, same as our Geiszler.

Compatible with all Wheels Manufacturing (SRAM T47) bottom brackets that have the following spline patterns: 52mm, 16-notch 1/2 UNC threaded Press Rod.
SRAM Thin Flange T47 Bottom Bracket Socket Designed to create a tight grip on thin flange bottom bracket to avoid slipping while torquing cups into bike frames. This single-sided socket is used for installing and removing 52mm, 16-notch bottom bracket cups. The socket has a machined 3/8" drive, which can be used to allow 3/8" drive torque wrenches to be attached and locks onto 1/2 inch UNC press rod for secure and easy installation of thin flanged bottom brackets. We all know how messy the bottom bracket situation is for modern bikes. We have you covered for almost all of your modern bottom bracket tool needs though. The BB Common was a staple of bottom bracket tools before things got complicated by oversized spindles and press fit. These start as a solid aluminum billet and get precision machined for a nice clean fit. They use a 3/8" square drive for use with your favorite ratchet or torque wrench. We even engrave the default torque spec on them so you don't have to look it up anymore. Starting in 2020 we revised these to be chamferless in an effort to make them work better with extremely thin centerlock lockrings.
