Surly Snuggnut
Description
Snuggnut keeps your rear wheel from slipping forward in the dropout under pedal load. The Snuggnut’s design allows fast, easy wheel position and chain tension adjustments without the need for tools.
- Compatible with 12mm horizontal, vertical-slotted dropouts
- CNC-machined
- Tool-free chain tensioning
If using 10/12 Adapter Washers and QR wheels use a Tuggnut instead. Snuggnut is not for use with MDS Chips.

The Singleator features a triple-sealed spring, large cog capacity, chain guides, fully-adjustable chain line, floating pulley, and a stainless steel pivot bushing. The main body is forged, so it’s strong. We’ve gone with an 11-tooth pulley for smooth, quiet operation. And, it now works with both 1/8" (BMX) and 3/32" (geared bikes) chains. Bent chainrings are thing of the past with the new V2 Bash Guard. A light and simple way to protect your chainring from even the biggest of impacts. The guard has been designed around a unique modular design where you can run the guide and the bash together or independently. This also makes it possible to mix and match colours to give enough combos for even the fussiest rider.
The Bash guard has proven itself on the world stage with U21 EWS rider Brady Stone who is currently ranked 1st in the global rankings and also took an overall EWS stage win!
The back plate is CNC machined from 6082 aluminium. The use of two fitment points not only saves weight but also makes it possible to fit the chain-guide without removing the cranks. A custom laser cut spacer is included if you decided to run the bash guard on it own.
