Description

It all starts here, Arise is our invitation to the Bombtrack family. Made from heat treated double butted 4130 crmo steel you cannot go wrong if you are looking for the simplest way to join the drop bar off-road riding scene.
The singlespeed setup means no concerns about gearing, just hop on and pedal on wide, fast and comfortable tyres. Its contemporary design features 12 mm thru-axles and disc brakes, and both frame and fork have mounts for racks, fenders, and internal routing for dynamo lighting.

    Stormchaser Single Speed is the minimalist gravel bike. It thrives in gritty, muddy conditions with its simple single-speed drivetrain and extra tyre clearance.

    - 6066-T6 alloy frame features impact-absorbing Class 5™ VRS frame design, paired with a carbon fork to further reduce road vibrations for all-day comfort.
    - Alternator Flat Mount dropouts make chain tensioning easy and also accommodate 1x geared drivetrains (with Alternator Flat Mount geared dropout plate, 465 Derailleur Hanger, and Axle Stud Kit, sold separately).
    - Cargo mounts on the frame and fork let you load up for long rides without resupply.
    - Equipped with a 17- and 18-tooth cog — go with the 17 for faster days and flatter routes, or the 18 for courses with more climbing.

    Stormchaser is a comfortable, reliable single speed gravel bike that’s unphased by the ugliest road conditions.

    The challenge was thus: Build a serious steel bike and give it only the attributes that matter most. Make it quick and comfortable on pavement, as well as confident and compliant on degraded surfaces. What the Enginerds put forth is Preamble, a pavement and gravel utility worker that proves you don’t need to cut corners or clip coupons to make a more affordable steel bike. You just need to keep shit simple.

    Preamble can run racks and fenders and carry a couple water bottles. Surly was raised on stealing basic cable, after all. Smooth and efficient on asphalt, Preamble’s double-butted main triangle provides a resplendent ride feel and withstands abuse from life’s inevitable potholes. Make it your own with flat bars, drop bars, a basket, or bags. On the road to steel euphoria, Preamble is the gateway drug.

    The WTB Ranger 27.5 x 2.0” tyres grip the trail like a champ, making it a blast when you leave the pavement behind. Thanks to the SRAM Apex Eagle 1x setup, shifting and braking feel solid and simple, with a wide gear range to tackle anything from steep climbs to fast flats. The Seido MGV carbon fork also has plenty of mounts and room for big tyres plus neat hidden cables to keep things looking clean.
