Salsa Post-Lock Rack Mount 30.9mm
Description
Post-Lock is a rack attachment point that can be positioned anywhere on your seatpost to provide a mounting point. Post-Locks do not have a lip like our Lip-Lock, Flip-Lock, and Rack-Lock so therefore cannot be used as a seatpost clamp.
- This is not a seat collar and cannot be used to keep your seatpost in place
- Not for use with carbon fiber seatposts
- Please consult your seatpost manufacturer to check compatibility
- Max torque 3 - 5 N-m

Why Chris King Made This – "Symmetry is a key component of sound design. King riders have, for years, paired our headsets with our bottom brackets and hubs, to provide a few, classy pops of colour to their bikes. But that left them with no off-setting visual cue at the top of the bike to make the look more symmetrical. If this strikes you as a goofy way to think about your bike, fair enough, but it’s one of those things that bothered our eyes a little, and enough riders asked us to make a seat collar that we went ahead and designed one"

Installation
- Please measure the seat tube of your frame to ensure proper fitment before ordering. Each nominal size is intended to fit a seat tube +/- 0.5mm (for example a 30.0 Seatpost Collar should fit a seat tube OD of 29.5mm up to 30.5mm).
- We recommend applying a small amount of anti-seize compound to the inside of the Seatpost Collar when installing on aluminum, steel, or titanium frames.
- Maximum Torque is 6nm.
- Clamp Height 15.88mm and Clamp Height to Inner Lip 14.35mm
- The bolt and barrel nut of each King Seatpost Collar comes with a small amount of anti-seize compound applied to the threads. The NOQR was engineered to evenly distribute maximum clamping power in the lightest form possible.
Since the advent of dropper-posts Paul started thinking there really is a need these days for a seatcollar with deeper, more uniform clamping distribution: Enough to keep your dropper post from slipping in the frame, but also with a large, evenly dispersed clamping force to avoid the dreaded “dropper-binding”.
The convex back of the “floating button” design evenly disperses clamping force, and avoids pinching or binding at a lighter weight than a steel barrel, is replaceable if damaged, and follows the simple PAUL aesthetic nicely.
