Soma Fog Cutter Frame+ IS Fork Blue 48cm
Description
The Fog Cutter is an endurance road/road sport design. We designed it to fit fatter tires, but its geometry makes it handle like a road bike rather than CX or gravel bike. It can float you over chewed up asphalt better than most bikes in this category. This is the frame you want for grand fondos, long days in the saddle and the most demanding commutes.
Tange Prestige double butted CrMo steel tubing; heat treated throughout
• Fork INCLUDED lugged CrMo steel fork (CrMo steerer, IS disc mount, QR hub)
• Road sport geometry
• Rear rack & fender mounts
• Tange Modular dropouts. Stock setup is for 142mm thru-axle hubs and flat mount disc brakes. Alternative styles available thru Tange/Long Shen.
• Tyre clearance for 700c x38mm with fenders (some front derailleurs will limit tire clearance) and 650b x 42mm

The original inspiration for the Wolverine was “monster cross”, but it is seriously so much more. Its geometry is stable enough for off road touring, but sporty enough for all-around adventure. With its sliding dropouts, you can turn it into a single-speed CX bike. With a split seatstay, it is compatible with the Gates Carbon Belt Drive.
The primary differences between the 3.0 and v. 4 Type-B is an extra set of water bottle bosses, and additional stack height on most sizes.
- Tange Prestige heat-treated CrMo front triangle; butted CrMo rear end
- Clearance for 700x45c tires w/ fenders
- Rear hub spacing:135mm (10mm QR, can be upgraded to 142mm 12mm TA with different inserts )
- Gates Carbon belt drive compatible
- IRD Broski sliding dropouts allow for geared or single-speed builds
Optional Matching Forks: A) lugged flat crown standard QR axle, Tange Infinity CrMo steel fork; double eyelets pannier rack and mini rack mounts. B) Unicrown straight blade 15mm thru-axle fork
- Braze-ons for rear rack and fenders (disc brake-compatible racks only)
- Three sets of water bottle bosses

So what is this Straggler anyway? The easy answer is to say that we added disc brakes to a Cross-Check and this is close to accurate. People have asked us to make a disc version of our highly versatile Cross-Check for a long time now and almost everything about the two are very similar. Straggler is slightly different, though.
The most obvious difference of course is that the Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. It’ll accept rotors up to 160mm. The rear dropouts are unique, too. They’re a partially closed horizontal design that accommodates singlespeed or geared drivetrains. They feature stop screws that thread in from the rear to further secure the wheel and to position the rear wheel for optimal shifting, plus a forward-mounted stop screw on the drive side to keep the wheel from slipping forward under the force of your gargantuan legs. The rear dropouts are spaced 135mm instead of 132.5mm like the Cross-Check simply because there are far more options for disc hubs in this spacing.
Straggler shares all of the Cross-Check’s braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The Straggler's geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it's ready to take you just about anywhere.Stock Level:Out Of StockStock Level:Out of StockPOA -

The Grand Randonneur is a road frame optimized to carry a front load. We have equipped it with rear rack mounts, but it feels best with a front load only. The version 3 of the "Grando" makes quite a few updates.
• The geometry is still low trail in the front, but we have tried to make the handling slightly more stable than version 1 and 2.
• We have tweaked the tubing mix to add stiffness at the bottom bracket, while keeping this frame our lightest model.
• We have modernized parts of it: Adding IS disc mounts and thru-axle hubs compatibility. And of course everyone wants just slightly more tire clearance.
• With its skinny steel tubes and 1" threaded lugged crown fork it still has the vintage road bike look.
• Tange Prestige CrMo tubes, double-butted
• Threaded 1" lugged crown fork is equipped with low rider pannier bosses, mini rack eyelets and double eyelets at the dropouts. Thru-axle hub compatible. IS disc mounts
• Designed for 650b wheels
• Max. tire fit: 650 x 47mm semi-knob tire
(Max. fender width: 50mm)
• Modular rear dropouts: Stock set up is for 142mm x 12mm thru-axle with IS disc mounts.
• Rear rack and fender eyelets
• Pump peg at headtube
• 3 sets of water bosses
• Headset type: 1" ISO Threaded external cups(EC30/25.4|EC30/26) (Needle/Roller bearings recommended)
