Soma Fog Cutter Frame+ IS Fork Blue 48cm
Description
The Fog Cutter is an endurance road/road sport design. We designed it to fit fatter tires, but its geometry makes it handle like a road bike rather than CX or gravel bike. It can float you over chewed up asphalt better than most bikes in this category. This is the frame you want for grand fondos, long days in the saddle and the most demanding commutes.
Tange Prestige double butted CrMo steel tubing; heat treated throughout
• Fork INCLUDED lugged CrMo steel fork (CrMo steerer, IS disc mount, QR hub)
• Road sport geometry
• Rear rack & fender mounts
• Tange Modular dropouts. Stock setup is for 142mm thru-axle hubs and flat mount disc brakes. Alternative styles available thru Tange/Long Shen.

The original inspiration for the Wolverine was “monster cross”, but it is seriously so much more. Its geometry is stable enough for off road touring, but sporty enough for all-around adventure.
The primary differences between the version 3.0 Wolverine and the v. 4 Type-A and B is an extra set of water bottle bosses, and additional stack height on most sizes.
The Type-A ALSO adopts more modern standards such as 142mm rear thru-axle and a 44mm headtube that will fit 1-1/8 straight steerer or tapered steerer with the proper headset type. NO frame break for Belt-Drive. (See chart for other differences between A and B)
- Tange Prestige heat-treated CrMo front triangle; butted CrMo rear end
- Clearance for 700x45c tires w/ fenders
- Rear hub spacing/type: 142 x12mm Thru-Axle
- IRD Broski sliding dropouts allow for geared or single-speed builds
Optional Matching Fork: Unicrown straight blade 15mm thru-axle fork with cage bosses (1-1/8”)
No lugged crown fork offered for the Type-B
- Braze-ons for rear rack and fenders (disc brake-compatible racks only)
- Three sets of water bottle bosses
- 44mm headtube (Use ZS44/28.6-ZS44/30 headset for 1-1/8” steerers) (Use ZS44/28.6 -EC44/40 headsets for 1-1/8”-1-1/2” steerers)

The challenge was thus: Build a serious steel bike and give it only the attributes that matter most. Make it quick and comfortable on pavement, as well as confident and compliant on degraded surfaces. What the Enginerds put forth is Preamble, a pavement and gravel utility worker that proves you don’t need to cut corners or clip coupons to make a more affordable steel bike. You just need to keep shit simple.
Preamble can run racks and fenders and carry a couple water bottles. Surly was raised on stealing basic cable, after all. Smooth and efficient on asphalt, Preamble’s double-butted main triangle provides a resplendent ride feel and withstands abuse from life’s inevitable potholes. Make it your own with flat bars, drop bars, a basket, or bags. On the road to steel euphoria, Preamble is the gateway drug.

Ever since the birth of the first Straggler it has been blazing trails and kicking up dust in the gravel world.
Over a decade later the newest Straggler emerges — a highly capable, no-nonsense gravel machine with a wider range of fitment and updated geometry to satisfy those who need a "do-it-all" kind of ride.
The new Straggler is for the rider who sees challenges, not obstacles. Someone who embraces the ethos of the Straggler and is excited to see it do more. Someone eager to push the boundaries of exploration with a "do-it-all" gravel bike that's equally comfortable on- and off-road.
It utilises the same dropouts and brake mounts as the current Midnight Special, along with thru-axles and flat-mount brakes for more performance-oriented riding where stability prevails.
Other updates include:
- Raised stack for more comfortable and visible riding
- Lowered seat tube for greater travel windows on dropper posts
- Sloped top tube to improve standover height for riders with shorter inseams
- Slightly lowered bottom brackets for more rider confidence
- Internal dropper post routing compatible
- 2 standard and 1 three-pack bottle mounts on all frames
- 44mm head tube diameter allows for varied fork options; steel, carbon, or even a 40mm gravel suspension fork
- Straggler fork with 12x100mm thru-axle, flat mount brake standard, 44mm offset, with rack and fender mounts
