Our 6000 over axle adapter is used to press 6000 sealed bearings into hub shells or suspension components. An over axle adapter is necessary when the bearing slides over the axle before it is pressed into the hub shell or suspension component. In addition to the adapter, you often need spacers to clear the end of the axle and allow enough clearance for the press to fully push in the bearing.

Open Bore adapters, also known as drifts, are used to press cartridge bearings in to bottom bracket cups, hub shells, freehub bodies and suspension frame pivots. Each adapter has a smaller diameter that inserts in to the center of a bearing, and a larger diameter section that matches the outside diameter of the bearing. When used with a bearing press, the adapter presses against the races of the bearing, properly aligns the bearing and prevents damage as the bearing is pressed in.
Our 1526 open bore adapter is used to press 26x15 sealed bearings. The adapter is machined with one step at 15mm OD, which fits in to the center of the sealed bearing.

We travel a lot with our bikes and are always looking for the leanest way to have everything we need to build or service a bike without packing 50 lbs of tools. To help with this we developed some very specific Pack Tools that are high quality but weight conscious for those that do mobile wrenching, travel with their bike, or just want one set of tools that can be thrown in when heading to the trail. Wolf Tooth bottom bracket sockets are tools for installation and removal of external cup bottom brackets. They are machined in Minnesota with 7075-T6 aluminum.
